THE BENEFICIARIES
Since its inception, Winter Party Festival has been making a difference in people's lives and has provided vital funding for organizations serving the South Florida LGBT community. Since the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force assumed responsibility for the Festival and the Miami Recognition Dinner, it has returned two-thirds of the net proceeds of these events to local service organizations.

Funds are distributed locally through a grant-making process administered by the Dade Community Foundation — Greater Miami's permanent philanthropic endowment for enhancing the quality of life of all Miami-Dade County residents. The Foundation provides non-profit organizations with funding support and technical assistance for programs and projects that benefit the community across a broad spectrum of community issues and needs.
